Selwyn M. Skevin approaches his clients with compassion and guidance, while zealously representing their best interests inside and outside of the courtroom. He practices law in a variety of areas within general civil litigation including:
Prior to attending the John Marshall Law School, Selwyn earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (with an emphasis on business) at Arizona State University. The business acumen gained from working as a mortgage broker in Arizona and Illinois, most notably with Morgan Stanley, helps ensure that every case is thoroughly investigated to achieve the best possible outcome.
Selwyn also enjoys giving back to the community in legal and non-legal capacities. He is the current Chair of the JUF Community Legal Services and has volunteered in the past for the JUF Uptown Café, Chicago Legal Clinic’s Chancery Advice Desk, Wills for Heroes, and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
Selwyn is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Decalogue Society. He is also fluent in Russian.
